Hopi Ear Candling

Thermal Auricular Therapy/Hopi Ear Candling

The process of inserting hollow cones into the ear and using it with heat dates back many thousands of years and has been attributed to many different civilisations – in particular to the Hopi Indians of the Shoshonean Indian Tribe.

Hopi Ear Candles burn using convection, drawing softer waxes and toxins from the ear, some of which are oxidised or turned into vapours and burned off.  When used with Indian Head Massage the treatment assists with the stimulation of the lymph flow and facial sinuses which in turn releases congestion and blockages. This treatment is a relaxing, non invasive treatment which has many benefits which include:

  • Removal of ear wax build up and debris from ear canal
  • Relief of pressure in cases of sinusitis, headaches, migraines, congestion, ‘swimmers ear’
  • Relief from vertigo or dizziness, tinnitus or head noises.
  • Works well as part of an Indian Head Massage
