Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension, insomnia, headaches and sinusitis. People often say the experience is deeply calming and relaxing, leaving them feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate.
Ear Candling
We use special ear candles to draw the softer waxes and toxins from the ear. This is a relaxing treatment and can help with conditions like sinusitis and headaches. Ear Seeds – Auriculothearpy
Did you know that the ear, just like the feet, hands and face, is a microsystem? Basically this means it is a map of the body and represents every part of the human body! How amazing is that!!!
Auriculotherapy is based on nerve connections which delivers more specific localised treatment to the organs/systems involved in the health problem.
In an Auriculotherapy treatment ear seeds are applied to the reflex points on the ear which in turn sends a message to the brain to act on the particular location being treated.
Auriculotherapy stems from Traditional Chinese Medicine and is recognised by the World Health Organisation for the treatment of over 350 conditions, ranging from smoking cessation and weight loss, to allergies, anxiety disorders and pain relief – in fact conditions relating to every bodily system which are far too numerous to mention.
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture
A therapeutic practice rooted in ancient Chinese medicine that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow, known as “qi” (pronounced “chee”). According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, disruptions or imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians can lead to illness or pain. By inserting needles into these points, acupuncturists aim to restore balance and promote the body’s natural healing abilities. Cupping and Gua Shua may also be used within this appointment.
