Lori Smith Clinical Director
DARM, DSEM, DSRM, DIR, DIHM, Dip Onc. DSM
SMTO, STO Reg
Lori is our Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist. She holds qualifications in Swedish, Sports, Indian Head, Oncology massage and Reflexology. Loris is also qualified in Medical Acupuncture, Kinesio Taping and Traditional Taping techniques, Hot Stone Massage and Aromafacial Massage. She has a Masters Certificate in Trigger Point Therapy (Neil Asher Technique). Lori has worked closely with athletes including footballers, rugby players, boxers, runners and cyclists as well motorbike racers. She is the Principal of Grampian School of Massage teaching Swedish and Remedial and Sports Massage. A keen swimmer, hillwalker and cyclist. She has a special interest in Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility Syndrome and working with the elderly.
Jackie Gibson Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist
DSM, DSRM, DIHM
Jackie has a decade of experience as a Massage Therapist. She gained her Diploma in Swedish Massage in 2012 followed by a Diploma in Indian Head Massage in 2013. In 2021 she completed her Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage allowing her to treat injuries and chronic conditions. She is also qualified in Hydrotherm Massage, Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage, Aromafacial Massage and Ear Candling.
Mae Maginnis Reflexologist/Massage Therapist
DSM, DIHM, DIR, MB
Mae graduated from Scottish Massage Schools in 2012 having completed her Diploma in Swedish Massage. She then went on to study Indian Head Massage, gaining her Diploma in 2013 followed by her Diploma in Reflexology in 2014. She is a Registered Member of the Scottish Massage Therapist Organisation.
Isla Munro Sports Massage Therapist
Isla is our youngest member of the Team! People’s health & wellbeing has always been an interest to Isla and since leaving school, she took the route of massage therapy and feels it was the best thing she did. Isla’s passion for helping people shines through with everyone she meets. She qualified in HNC Complementary Therapy and has recently qualified in HNC Soft Tissue Therapy as a Sports Massage Therapist. She is currently doing further studies at the University of Highlands & Islands to study for an HND in Sports Therapy. As a Complementary Therapist, she is qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Swedish and Hot Stone Therapy. She is a big believer in self care and looking after the body. She enjoys adventures and holidays with friends and family and keeps healthy by going on walks along the coast and attending the gym.
Fiona Harrison Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist
Our newest member of the Body Logic Team. During lockdown Fiona completed an Open University certificate in Health Sciences. She then went on to study Swedish Massage through Scottish Massage Schools and qualified in 2021 and this year qualified as a Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist. Fiona is also a member of the Army Reserves and particularly enjoys hill walking, running and has recently taken up rock climbing. Fiona is a registered member of the professional body Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation (SMTO).
Jake Hitchcock Hypnotherapist
HPD, Dip CAH MNCH, CNHC Reg
Jake is a fully qualified hypnotherapist graduating from the UK Academy of Scotland with his Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma as well as his Diploma in Clinical Advanced Hypnosis and certification as a practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming. He specialises in Chronic Pain conditions and currently manages his own condition through Hypnosis. Jake also went on to study further to work with people who are suffering from cancer as well as completing training to offer Hypnotic Weight Loss Surgery. He has recently qualified in OldPain2Go™. Jake often enjoys having a game of tennis as part of his local club. On the colder winter nights can often be found reading a book and looking after all of his different pets. Jake if a member of both the National Hypnotherapy Council (NCH) and the Complementary National Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Judith Rust Advanced Dietician/Reiki Practitioner
BSC HONS, PGDIP Dietetics
Judith is our Advanced Dietician she has been qualified and been a state registered Dietitian since 1998.
She currently works part time for NHS Grampian and will be to working 1 day per week in the private sector with Body Logic Therapies. Judith’s main areas of interest and expertise; GI conditions, weight reduction and behaviour change skills including weight reduction classes, cancer, specialised tube feeding, nutritional support (expertise in weight gain), neurological conditions. Her main attributes include advanced people skills and varied expertise in many different areas of dietetics as well as a positive and uplifting personality to maximise motivation with achieving personal goals.
In addition to being qualified in Dietetics, she has recently obtained her Reiki 1 and 2 and now qualified to practice Reiki.
